Shannon Cochran is an American actress who graduated summa cum laude from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She has a notable association with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago and has appeared in films such as The Ring (2002), Star Trek: Nemesis (2002), and The Substance of Things Hoped For (2006). Her television credits include guest roles in Grey's Anatomy, The Office, and multiple Star Trek series, among others. Cochran has been recognized with an Obie Award and a Theatre World Award for her performances on stage. She remains active in both film and theater, as well as teaching acting.
