Seylan Baxter is a Scottish actress who made her film debut in 2014 as the Older Witch in Macbeth (StudioCanal, dir J. Kurzel). She has participated in various productions, including her recent role as Tecteun in Doctor Who (BBC) and as the medium in Host (Shudder, dir R. Savage), a pioneering horror film shot remotely during the Covid-19 lockdown. With a background in languages, she holds degrees in French, Spanish, and Portuguese from Salford University, as well as in Scottish Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
