Sergio Castellitto is an Italian actor, film director, and screenwriter who began his film career in 1983 with The General of the Dead Army. He gained prominence through various films such as The Great Pumpkin (1993) and The Star Maker (1995). Castellitto has also appeared in miniseries like Un siciliano in Sicilia (1987) and Come stanno bene insieme (1989). His notable works include Don't Move, which was written by his wife Margaret Mazzantini, and his portrayal of Padre Pio in Padre Pio: Miracle Man. Castellitto directed the film Twice Born, which was featured at the Toronto Film Festival in 2012.
