Sebastian Stan is a Romanian-born American actor who portrayed Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starting with Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). He gained further prominence through his role in the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021). Stan's film credits include supporting roles in The Martian (2015) and Logan Lucky (2017), as well as leading performances in I, Tonya (2017) and Fresh (2022). He also appeared in the television series Gossip Girl (2007–2010) and received critical acclaim for his role in the Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy (2022), earning nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. For his performance in A Different Man (2024), he won a Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor.
