Scott Thompson is a Canadian actor and comedian who became a prominent member of the comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall, which launched its sketch series in 1989. He played the role of Brian on The Larry Sanders Show. Thompson's work includes notable performances as the character Buddy Cole, alongside various other roles in the same series, and guest appearances on shows like Politically Incorrect and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. He was part of the queercore punk band Mouth Congress and hosted the reality show My Fabulous Gay Wedding. Thompson made a recent appearance in Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution (2024).
