Scott MacDonald is an American character actor who played Captain Manning in the series Threshold. He has appeared in 81 projects across film, television, and video games. Notable performances include Burley in the HBO series Carnivàle, Commander Dolim in Star Trek: Enterprise, and the title character in the 1996 horror film Jack Frost. MacDonald has a background in stage acting and has performed on Broadway. He graduated from Washington State University and earned an MFA in acting/theatre from the California Institute of the Arts. He appeared in Jarhead (2005).
