Scott Ly is a Vietnamese American actor who starred in A Tourist's Guide to Love (2023). Raised in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California, he is the youngest of four children in a family of boat refugees from Vietnam. Before pursuing acting, Scott excelled in athletics, serving as captain of his high school's basketball and wrestling teams. His dedication to martial arts, inspired by Bruce Lee, includes training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA. Scott's passion for performance ultimately directed him towards acting as his primary career focus.
