Sawandi Wilson is an award-winning American actor who starred as Captain Leto in the final season of Star Trek: Discovery. He has appeared in various television and film roles, including Marcus in Amazon's Harlem and a recurring character in Netflix's The House of Flowers. Wilson began his artistic journey as a breakdancer before pursuing a BA in Sociology from Hofstra University. He further honed his acting skills under the guidance of Marishka Phillips, Susan Batson, and Bob Krakower. In addition to his acting career, Wilson is dedicated to empowering youth through dance and expressive arts. He also featured in Battle of the Year (2013).
