Satish Kaushik is an Indian film director and actor who portrayed 'Calendar' in Mr. India (1987). He has a diverse career in both film and theatre, with notable performances including 'Chanu Ahmed' in Brick Lane (2007) and 'Willy Loman' in the Hindi adaptation of Death of a Salesman. Kaushik won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award twice, for Ram Lakhan (1990) and Saajan Chale Sasural (1997). His work as a dialogue writer includes the classic comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron (1983). In addition to his acting roles, he directed Teree Sang, which addresses the theme of teen pregnancy. His filmography also features titles such as Tere Naam (2003), Chhalaang (2020), and Kaagaz (2021).
