Sarah Kernochan is an American documentarian and filmmaker who won two Academy Awards for her work in documentary filmmaking. She received the Oscar for Documentary Feature for 'Marjoe' in 1973 and another for Documentary Short Subject for 'Thoth' in 2002. Kernochan has also contributed as a screenwriter and producer, with notable works including 'Nine 1/2 Weeks' (1986).
