Sarah Deakins is an actor, writer, and director known for her role in the short film "Late". She graduated from the University of Victoria's theatre program and has a diverse portfolio that includes stage and screen performances. Deakins has directed and written several projects, including the short film "Greece", which won over 25 awards on the festival circuit, and the pilot "Yellow" for a limited anthology series. Her feature script "Violet" won the top prize at the 2021 Golden Script Competition. Deakins has also worked on films such as "Alone in the Dark" (2005) and "Hollow Man II" (2006).
