Sandra Oh is a Canadian and American actress who gained prominence for her role as Dr. Cristina Yang in the ABC medical drama series Grey's Anatomy (2005–2014). She has received numerous accolades, including one Primetime Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. Oh's early recognition came from her performances in the Canadian films Double Happiness (1994) and The Diary of Evelyn Lau (1994), both of which earned her Genie Awards. Her extensive television work includes starring in Killing Eve (2018–2022) and voicing characters in animated films such as Raya and the Last Dragon (2021) and Turning Red (2022). She made history as the first woman of Asian descent to host the Golden Globe Awards in 2019.
