Samuel Anderson is an English actor who originated the role of Crowther in the National Theatre production of Alan Bennett's play The History Boys in 2004. He portrayed police officer Ross Kirk in the long-running series Emmerdale until early 2009. His television credits include the BAFTA award-winning comedy Gavin & Stacey, where he played the recurring character Fingers, and the BBC Four comedy Stuck. Anderson has also appeared in films such as The Lady in the Van (2015) and Another Life (2019).
