Samantha Bond is an English actress who portrayed Miss Moneypenny in four James Bond films, including GoldenEye (1995) and Die Another Day (2002). She gained further recognition for her role as Lady Rosamund Painswick in the series Downton Abbey. Additionally, Bond originated the character of "Miz Liz" Probert in the Rumpole of the Bailey series. Her film credits also include Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999), Cold Blood (2019), and The Kindred (2021). Bond is a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
