Samantha Barks is a Manx actress and singer who made her film debut as Éponine in Les Misérables (2012). She gained recognition after finishing third in the BBC talent show I'd Do Anything in 2008. Barks has released three studio albums, including Looking in Your Eyes (2007) and Into the Unknown (2021). She starred in the Disney Channel musical-comedy Groove High (2012–2013) and played Vivian Ward in Pretty Woman: The Musical on Broadway in 2018. Additionally, she has portrayed Elsa in the West End production of Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical (2025). Barks received the Empire Award for Best Female Newcomer for her performance in Les Misérables.
