Sala Baker is a New Zealand actor and stuntman who portrayed the Dark Lord Sauron in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. He initially joined the project as a stunt performer and also took on roles as various Orcs, a Gondorian, and a member of the Rohirrim. His film credits include The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) and two installments of the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Baker worked on the crew of The Last Samurai (2003). He appears in Braven (2018) and Shadow Force (2025).
