Sahr Ngaujah is an American theater actor and director who gained prominence for his Tony Award-nominated portrayal of Fela Kuti in the Broadway musical Fela! (2009). He has also received a second Tony Award nomination for his role as Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec in Moulin Rouge! (2019). Ngaujah has worked extensively in experimental theater, particularly in Amsterdam, before transitioning to screen roles. His notable television appearances include ABC's Last Resort (2012) and Netflix's Luke Cage (2018). He appeared in The Signal (2007).
