Ryu Jun-yeol is a South Korean actor who gained fame through his role in the television series Reply 1988 (2015–2016). He began his acting career in short films and independent projects, making his feature film debut in INGtoogi: Battle of Internet Trolls. Ryu's notable film credits include The King (2017), A Taxi Driver (2017), and Believer (2018). He has also appeared in Money (2019) and Alienoid: Return to the Future (2024). His performance in Socialphobia earned him several awards, including the KAFA Rising Star Award. Ryu has collaborated with prominent filmmakers and is a significant figure in Chungmuro cinema.
