Ryan O'Neal is an American actor who gained prominence with his role as Rodney Harrington in the ABC soap opera Peyton Place (1964). He transitioned to film, achieving notable success in Love Story (1970), which earned him nominations for both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Actor. His other significant works include What's Up, Doc? (1972), Paper Moon (1973), Barry Lyndon (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), and The Driver (1978). O'Neal also appeared in a recurring role as Max in the Fox series Bones from 2005 to 2017.
