Ryan Kwanten is an Australian actor who portrayed Vinnie Patterson in the soap opera Home and Away from 1997 to 2002. He gained further recognition for his role as Jason Stackhouse in the HBO series True Blood, which aired from 2008 to 2014. Kwanten also starred in the American teen drama Summerland as Jay Robertson. His recent work includes producing and acting in the crime drama series The Oath and appearing in the horror anthology series Them. In 2022, he took on the role of Thomas Weylin in Kindred, an adaptation of Octavia E. Butler's novel. Kwanten starred in The Hurricane Heist, released in 2018.
