Ruth Rudnick is an actress and writer who played Nurse Wanda in While You Were Sleeping (1995). She began her career in Boston at WZOU FM, where she entertained audiences with impressions and traffic reports. After moving to Chicago, she co-wrote and performed in over fifteen reviews with notable alumni from The Second City Theater, including Steven Colbert and Steve Carell. In addition to her film work, she has guest-starred on various television shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm and NCIS. Rudnick is also a founding member of the All Girl Review and the founder of Lead With Your Art, an organization focused on improvisation and the arts for young people. She is nearing completion of her first book, a childhood memoir.
