Rupert Grint is an English actor known for portraying Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series, starting with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001). He began his career in acting at the age of eleven, participating in school plays and local theater before landing his role. Outside of the Harry Potter franchise, Grint has appeared in films such as Thunderpants (2002), Driving Lessons (2006), and Cherrybomb (2010). He also co-starred in the comedy Wild Target and took on a supporting role in the anti-war film Into the White (2012). Grint made his stage debut in Mojo in 2013 and has voiced characters in animated films like Postman Pat: The Movie (2014). He executive-produced and starred in the series Snatch and has been featured in the psychological horror series Servant since 2019.
