Ruma Guha Thakurta is a Bengali actress who began her career as a dancer and singer in the film industry. She founded the Calcutta Youth Choir in 1958 and has been actively involved in the arts since then. Her notable works include the film Bidhilipi (1991). Ruma Guha Thakurta was married to the famous singer Kishore Kumar from 1951 until their divorce.
