Rosie Perez is an American actress who gained prominence with her role as Tina in Spike Lee's Do the Right Thing (1989). She starred in notable films such as White Men Can't Jump (1992), Fearless (1993), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress, and Pineapple Express (2008). Perez earned three Emmy nominations for her work as a choreographer on In Living Color (1990–1994). Her stage credits include performances in Broadway productions like The Ritz and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. In addition to her acting career, she co-hosted the ABC talk show The View during its 18th season.
