Rose McGowan is a filmmaker, activist, and musician who gained attention for her role as Amy Blue in 'The Doom Generation' (1995). After a challenging upbringing in the Children of God cult, she moved to the United States and began her acting career with small roles, including in 'Encino Man' (1992). McGowan's performances in 'Scream' (1996) and 'Jawbreaker' (1999) contributed to her prominence, and she later starred in the series 'Charmed' (2001-2006). Her work in 'Grindhouse' (2007) featured her as a go-go dancer with a machine gun leg. In addition to her acting, McGowan has emerged as a vocal activist, launching the Rose Army movement and producing her short film 'Dawn' (2015).
