Roopa Ganguly is an Indian actress who portrayed Draupadi in the television series Mahabharat (1988). She has collaborated with directors such as Mrinal Sen, Aparna Sen, and Rituparno Ghosh. In addition to her acting career, Ganguly is a trained Rabindra Sangeet vocalist and classical dancer. Her film credits include Barfi! (2012), Luck (2009), and Krishna Cottage (2004). Ganguly was nominated as a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, by the President of India in 2015.
