Ronit Elkabetz was an Israeli actress and filmmaker who won three Ophir Awards during her career. She worked in both Israeli and French cinema, gaining recognition for her role as Haled in the film The Band's Visit (2007). Elkabetz also lent her voice to the animated film Zarafa (2012). Throughout her career, she received a total of seven nominations for the Ophir Awards.
