Ron Eldard is an American actor who made his film debut in the 1989 comedy True Love. He gained recognition for his role as John Reilly in the 1996 film Sleepers, which featured a star-studded cast including Brad Pitt and Dustin Hoffman. Eldard has also appeared in several notable Broadway productions, such as On the Waterfront and Death of a Salesman, the latter being filmed for Showtime. His performance in the Tony Award-winning play Doubt began on January 9, 2006, where he starred alongside Dame Eileen Atkins. In addition, he appeared in the disaster film Deep Impact, released in 1998.
