Rolando Boyce

Rolando Boyce is a Panamanian-American actor who gained prominence for his role as Rufus in R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet." He began his acting journey at Chicago's ETA and Black Ensemble Theatre after returning to the city in 1996. His breakout performance came as William in Kenneth Lonergan's "Lobby Hero" at the Goodman Theatre. Boyce also portrayed Lincoln in Suzan-Lori Parks' "Topdog/Underdog" at Madison Repertory Theatre. He made his television debut in the pilot episode of "Prison Break" and has appeared in various commercials, TV shows, and films, including "A Dog's Way Home" (2019). Rolando met his on-screen wife, LeShay Tomlinson, while working on "Trapped in the Closet," and they married in 2008.
