Rodney Hicks is an American actor who made his Broadway debut in the original cast of the landmark musical Rent. Raised in Philadelphia, he pursued acting full-time after graduating from high school and gained early recognition in productions such as Bring in the Morning and I Was Looking at the Ceiling and Then I Saw the Sky. Hicks appeared in the 2000 revival of Jesus Christ Superstar as Peter and later took on the role of Joe Bonaparte in the revival of Golden Boy. His television credits include roles in NYPD Blue and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, as well as a part in ABC's Hope and Faith. In 2020, he appeared in the film Mighty Oak.
