Rodney A. Grant is a Native American actor who portrayed "Wind In His Hair" in the film Dances with Wolves (1990). Raised on the Omaha Reservation in Macy, Nebraska, he has appeared in various films, including Ghosts of Mars (2001), Wild Wild West (1999), and Geronimo: An American Legend (1993). In addition to his film work, Grant played "Chingachgook" in the television series Hawkeye (1994-1995) and had guest roles in Due South and Stargate SG-1. He also took on the role of the warrior Crazy Horse in the TV movie Son of the Morning Star (1991). Grant acted in The Substitute (1996).
