Rodger Bumpass is an American voice actor who voiced Squidward Tentacles in the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. His voice acting career began with a role in a 1962 episode of The Jetsons. Bumpass voiced Professor Membrane in Invader Zim, created by Jhonen Vasquez. His work includes appearances in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run (2020) and Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus (2019). He has consistently denied that his name is a joke.
