Robert Smigel is an American actor and filmmaker who created the "TV Funhouse" cartoon shorts for Saturday Night Live. He is the puppeteer and voice of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. Smigel has collaborated with Adam Sandler on films such as Happy Gilmore (1996), Punch-Drunk Love (2002), and the Hotel Transylvania series. His recent work includes the animated film Leo (2023).
