Robert Shaw was an English actor and novelist who played the shark hunter Quint in Jaws (1975). He gained recognition for his roles in several notable films, including The Sting (1973), From Russia with Love (1963), and A Man for All Seasons (1966). Shaw also appeared in the original The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974), Black Sunday (1977), and The Deep (1977). Shaw's portrayal of Quint remains one of his most memorable performances.
