Robert Guillaume was an American actor who portrayed Benson Du Bois in the television series Soap and its spin-off Benson. His extensive career included voicing the character Rafiki in The Lion King and starring as Isaac Jaffe in Sports Night. Guillaume's work spanned over five decades, during which he earned two Emmy Awards and received a Tony Award nomination for his stage performances. He also appeared in the film Seems Like Old Times (1980).
