Robert Eddison was an English actor who portrayed the Grail Knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). He had a distinctive resonant baritone voice and a tall, lean physique. Eddison gained recognition for his roles in William Shakespeare's works, including a notable Hamlet at the Old Vic, and also played Feste and Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night. His film appearances included a role in Vice Versa (1948) and a part in The Boy Who Turned Yellow (1972). Eddison also had a significant presence in radio dramas, including performances in adaptations of Japanese Noh plays. He is remembered for his role as the Grail Knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
