Robert Arevalo

Robert Arevalo is a Mexican actor who played the Opponent in Desperado (1995). He began his career working as an assistant at Twentieth Century Fox, where he developed a friendship with director Robert Rodriguez. Arevalo also appeared in Fools Rush In (1997) as Miguel Fuentes, one of Salma Hayek's brothers. His martial arts background includes training in Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do and achieving a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Machado Brazilian Jiujitsu. He has worked with Chad Stahelski, director of the John Wick series, and has trained in various martial arts disciplines. Arevalo appeared in American Sicario (2021).
