Rita Volk is an actress who starred in the film Almost Friends (2017). Originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, she relocated to San Francisco at the age of six. Volk's journey into acting began when a modeling scout approached her, leading to auditions for commercials. She participated in school plays throughout high school, which deepened her appreciation for film and aided her family's adaptation to American culture. Volk pursued higher education at Duke University, earning a degree in psychology/pre-med while also acting in student films and being part of the university's sketch comedy group, Inside Joke.
