Ricky Martin is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and actor who played the role of Antonio D'Amico in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story (2018). He began his career in the entertainment industry at a young age, appearing in commercials and later joining the boy band Menudo. Martin gained international fame with his album A Medio Vivir (1995), featuring the hit single "María." His English-language debut in 1999 included the chart-topping single "Livin' la Vida Loca," solidifying his status as a leading figure in Latin pop music. In addition to his music career, he has acted in General Hospital (1994–1996) and starred in the Broadway revival of Evita (2012). Martin has won multiple awards, including two Grammy Awards and five Latin Grammy Awards.
