Rick Moranis is a Canadian actor and comedian who starred in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (SCTV) during the 1980s. He gained prominence through his roles in several films, including Ghostbusters (1984), Little Shop of Horrors (1986), and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989), along with its sequels. After a significant break from live-action acting starting in 1997 to focus on raising his children, he continued to work in voice-over roles, such as in Disney's Brother Bear (2003). In 2020, he was set to reprise his role as Wayne Szalinski in a sequel titled Shrunk, although the project was later put on hold.
