Richard Ng Man-Tat was a veteran actor in the Hong Kong film industry, known for his work in the 'mo lei tau' genre of slapstick comedy. He gained prominence through collaborations with Stephen Chow, notably in the film All for the Winner (1990), where he portrayed Chow's uncle. Ng also starred in Portland Street Blues and appeared alongside Andy Lau in the Lee Rock series. His filmography includes titles such as Shaolin Soccer (2001) and Rising Shaolin: The Protector (2021). Despite his close friendship with Chow, Ng chose to step back from these collaborations to avoid being labeled solely as Chow's sidekick.
