Richard Lineback is an American actor who played Deputy Dodd in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985). He has taken on character roles in notable films such as Speed (1994), Twister (1996), and Varsity Blues (1999). Lineback's stage work includes leading performances as Tom Joad in The Grapes of Wrath and C.C. Showers in The Diviners, the latter earning him the Drama-Logue Award for Outstanding Actor. His television credits feature guest roles in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Enterprise, as well as appearances in M*A*S*H and JAG.
