Richard Kind is an American actor and comedian who made his Broadway debut in 1984 with "The Pirates of Penzance." He played Captain Stan Yenko in CBS's "East New York" (2022-23) and Dr. Mark Devanow in "Mad About You" (1992–1999, 2019). His film credits include performances in "A Serious Man" (2009), "Argo" (2012), and "Inside Out" (2015). Kind has also starred in numerous stage productions and earned a Drama Desk Award, along with a Tony nomination for "The Big Knife." He serves on the board of directors for the Creative Coalition.
