R.H. Thomson is a Canadian actor who has portrayed numerous historical figures, including Charlie Grant and Dr. Frederick Banting. He studied at the University of Toronto and the National Theatre School, and his play The Lost Boys was performed at the Great Canadian Theatre Company in 2000. Thomson has also hosted programs for CBC Radio and CBC Television. In 2010, he received the distinction of being appointed a Member of the Order of Canada. His notable works include roles in the films The Art of War (2000) and The Boys of St. Vincent (1992).
