Renée Zellweger is an American actress who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Cold Mountain (2003). She gained prominence with her performances in Jerry Maguire (1996), Nurse Betty (2000), and Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), the latter earning her an Academy Award nomination. Zellweger's portrayal of Roxie Hart in Chicago (2002) also led to another nomination for Best Actress. After a hiatus, she returned to the screen in Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) and starred in the Netflix series What/If (2019). In 2020, she received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as Judy Garland in the biopic Judy.
