Nagase Ren is a Japanese actor who made his film debut in the TV drama "Nobunaga's Chef" (2013). He is a member of the idol group King & Prince, which debuted with the single "Cinderella Girl" in 2018. His first lead role in a film came with "According to Our Butler" (2019). In 2021, he received the 44th Japan Academy Award for Best New Actor for his performance in "Yowamushi Pedal". He also appeared in the NHK Morning TV drama series "Okaeri Mone" the same year. Ren Nagase graduated from Meiji Gakuin University, where he studied sociology.
