Reginald VelJohnson is an American actor who portrayed Carl Winslow in the sitcom Family Matters (1989), appearing in every episode. He played LAPD Sgt. Al Powell in the action films Die Hard (1988) and Die Hard 2 (1990). In addition to his film work, VelJohnson appeared in the television series Chuck, specifically in the episode "Chuck Versus Santa Claus" (2008).
