Reggie Jackson is an American former professional baseball right fielder who played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball. He is notable for his powerful postseason performances, earning the nickname "Mr. October" while playing for the Oakland Athletics and New York Yankees. Jackson won five World Series titles with the Athletics and two with the Yankees, hitting three consecutive home runs in the decisive game of the 1977 World Series. In addition to his baseball career, he appeared in films such as Ri¢hie Ri¢h (1994) and BASEketball (1998). Jackson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993, and his uniform number was retired by both the Yankees and Athletics.
