Reece Shearsmith is a British actor and comedian who was a member of The League of Gentlemen, a group that originated as a stage act in 1995 and transitioned to television in 1999. He co-created and starred in the sitcom Psychoville and the anthology series Inside No. 9, which he developed with Steve Pemberton. Shearsmith has appeared in notable roles in Spaced (1999) and The World's End (2013). He also played Malcolm Webster in the ITV drama The Widower (2014). His work in The League of Gentlemen earned him several prestigious awards, including a British Academy Television Award. Shearsmith will appear in Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (2024).
