Rayson Tan is a Singaporean actor who gained prominence after finishing as the second runner-up in Star Search ’90. He made his television debut in the series 'Golden Shenton Way' and has portrayed a variety of characters, including a police inspector in 'Ladies In Action' and a swordsman in 'Web Of Deceit'. Tan's performance as a deranged old man in 'A Different Life' (1996) demonstrated his range, while his role as the anti-Japanese hero Lim Bo Seng in 'Price of Peace' (1997) marked a significant milestone in his career. He received Best Supporting Actor nominations at the Star Awards for his roles in 'A Song To Remember' and 'It Takes Two'. In 2014, he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 19th Annual Asian Television Awards.
